5 Fabulous Ways to Use Your Leftover Halloween Candy
Save Your Candy for Gingerbread Houses
This has been a great money saver for us. It’s a great way to supplement your candy when you are gathering to make gingerbread houses. We especially like to save the brightly colored candies or the Tootsie rolls for these.
Use your leftover chocolate candy in our Reeses Oatmeal Fudgies Recipe!
Our Reese’s Oatmeal Fudgies are an oatmeal based cookie bar with fudge on top. We love to add Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers, Milky Ways and other candy bars on the top right when they are pulled out of the oven.
These cookie bars are a great neighbor gift for the holidays and a delicious treat to bring to a cookie exchange.
Use your chocolate candy to decorate caramel apples
Caramel Apples are a favorite treat around here. We love using M&M’s, Heath bits, Butterfingers, and other chopped up chocolate candy bars as part of the coating.
These gourmet apples are the perfect treat for a teacher gift or as a hostess gift.
Mix some chocolate candy into our heath apple dip
One of our most popular dips on our blog is our Heath Bar Apple Dip. It’s creamy, chocolately, with a bits of heath that give it great caramel flavor. It’s amazing served with a tangy granny smith apple.
You can easily sub other chopped up candy bars for the Heath bits, or just do a combination of chocolate. You’re going to want to bring this easy side to all your holiday parties and baby or bridal showers.
Make candy necklaces
Candy Necklaces are super easy to make. You can use any and all kinds of candy. All you need to make these is some plastic wrap and a pair of scissors. You can use ribbon or stickers to jazz them up if you’d like.
These are a great treat for kids’ school classes, party favors or church groups. Check out our YouTube video above to see how easy it is to make these!
