Halloween Tips and Tricks from Andrea:
Buy Quality Decorations, ones that you truly love that will stand the test of time.
Don’t do anything big for dinner on Halloween night. Mummy hot dogs (hot dogs wrapped in biscuit dough), and pumpkin pizzas (pepperoni pizza with the pepperoni’s arranged like a jack-o-lantern face) are some of her family’s favorites
Have a fun Halloween Dinner sometime in October (not on Halloween night). Her family calls their dinner “Gritch’s Creepy Cafe.” Andrea dresses up like a witch and they make a tasty witches brew and eat slimy worms (spaghetti). More about Gritch’s Creepy Cafe HERE!
Trick or Treating around her small town is a huge highlight, talking with neighbors as they walk around.
As far as regulating the candy intake (as long as they don’t leave wrappers on the floor, and share some with her) she lets them have free reign on Halloween night!
Andrea’s family has fun making their own costumes and first finds pieces at the thrift store.
Halloween Movies are another way Andrea’s family celebrate’s Halloween. Her family loves Ghostbusters and Halloweentown

Favorite places to travel: Hawaii with her extended family was her favorite trip. Her dream trips would be Niagra Falls (check out how we did Niagra Falls here, we included ours on a church history trip) and Ireland.
Homemaking hack: Having a binder for each of her kids that has all the information she might need about them, school schedules, bike lock combos, field trip info, lists of extra curricular activities for college applications. So useful!!!
