M&M Cookies with White Chocolate Drizzle

These cookies are a little spin off from my chocolate chip recipe. I just subbed in mini M&M's for chocolate chips, and drizzled them with white chocolate.
White Chocolate Drizzle
1 1/2 cups white chocolate
2-3 TBSP heavy cream
Now the white chocolate is pretty temperamental, especially when you are like me and take the lazy route with the microwave. But! It is pretty quick as long as you do it right. So the key is to not microwave it too much.
So make your cookie dough, add the M&Ms, then while your cookies are baking, start making your white chocolate drizzle.
I take 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips and microwave it for 30 seconds. Then I stir it the best I can. It won't be very melted yet. Then I pop it in for another 30 seconds, stir again. It will be pretty thick. This is when I add 1 TBSP heavy cream. Now stir again like crazy. I usually need one more zap in the microwave for 30 seconds, but you may be melted enough depending on your appliance. I stir and stir and stir until it's fairly smooth and then add in another tablespoon of cream. Depending on the consistency you want, you may need to add another tablespoon of cream. For this recipe, I didn't want the white chocolate too watered down, so I stopped at 2. And that's it! Just drizzle your cookies and you're done.
